Put it Up! is a series of informal educational lessons that guide youth to explore and understand the science of safe food preservation. Hands-on food preservation activities are designed for youth in grades four through 12. The series is composed of six different preservation methods and may be taught as a series or individual one-time presentations. This program can be instructed in a variety of youth settings such as after school programs, summer camps, 4-H Clubs, Scouts and more.
