Meet and greet the artists Linda.jpg

"An environmental artist working exclusively in the ancient, water-based Japanese art of mokuhanga – woodblock print. Wood, watercolor, rice paste, paper – these are the ingredients of the artform. Her work offers a sense of stillness, peace and shelter. It embodies the Japanese word ma, translated as “a pause, a space between or a space yet to be fulfilled.” An interval. A consciousness of place. It is in this pause that the soul finds rest and reflection...the journey of viewing awakens you to the vulnerability of our natural spaces.  The rarely noticed or hidden becomes elevated to the sacred."
