Animal Identification and Record Keeping

Segment: 4. Domestic Animal Reproduction, Standard: Explain the variety and scope of managed animal systems in the United States and around the world including: livestock, poultry, aquaculture, companion animals, zoo animals, and exotic animals. (Pathway I.A.1)

Description

Different types of animal identification systems, such as tattooing and tagging, and how they are used for each unique species. Also, include how to properly maintain identification records for each species, and how to transfer ownership of animals through these records.
