EmailApple production and planting systems in Michigan have changed considerably over the last several years. The Apple Cost of Production spreadsheet has been updated to reflect current systems, practices and costs.
To estimate the costs of apple production in Michigan, Michigan State University Extension educators have tracked costs of apple production and compiled this information. During the winter of 2021-2022, a group of growers representing diverse operations across Michigan met to review and contribute updates. Agricultural economists were also included in this discussion. Information was compiled into an Excel file to be used by the industry.
