Landscaping

Segment: 8. Plant Culture & Propagation, Standard: Develop a production plan that applies the fundamentals of plant management. (Pathway II.C.1)

Description

When developing a production plan for landscaping there are many aspects to consider. A good plan will include materials that are appropriate based on hardiness zones, availability, and growing conditions.  A plan for materials should also include living and nonliving components and hardscape and softscape considerations. A plan must also consider site and location limitations, as well as customer preference, financial constraints and parameters. Additionally, the maintenance of the landscape should be evaluated when constructing a landscape management plan.
