National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI) and Social Security Numbers (SSN)

MSU Extension is currently contracting with the National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI) to provide national background checks. NCSI requires social security numbers in order for a background check to be completed on potential volunteers at the time of application and current volunteers during annual compliance.
