Non-insured Crop Disaster Assistance (NAP)

USDA Farm Service Agency's Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program (NAP) offers "financial assistance to producers of noninsurable crops when low yields, inventory loss, or prevented planting occur due to natural disasters".

The Farm Service Agency NAP website provides fact sheets and other reference information for the program. The website also has a NAP Crop Eligibility, Premium, and Payment Estimator Tool that examines the eligibility and costs of NAP for individual crops by county.  An instructional video that provides direction in how to use the Tool can be found here.
