We held workshops in 2019 and 2020 with stakeholders involved in urban agriculture in Lansing. At these workshops, researchers and community members identified multiple features of the urban agriculture system in Lansing that support resilience, such as strong organizations that support participation and learning, and that could be improved, such as increasing the diversity of individuals in leadership positions.
The workshops resulted in a visions for a sustainable and resilient urban agriculture system in Lansing. The next step was to operationalize this visions by co-creating scenarios. These scenarios help identify actionable pathways that would achieve our vision of the future twenty years from now. This workbook provides a guide for the scenario-building process.
