Are you a caregiver looking for training hours but don’t have time to go to evening courses? Join Michigan State University (MSU) Extension’s Rest Time Refreshers or Evening Energizers for a quick hour of training during nap time or after pick-up! Connect through your computer and learn about a variety of topics! Sessions will last 45 minutes with 15 minutes for questions and answers. Participants that attend and actively participate will receive a certificate of completion for one training hour emailed directly to them afterwards. Sessions are $5 per person.
Topics include: The Purpose of Play, RELAX: Alternatives to Anger - Parents and Caregivers, Supporting Military Families in Early Childhood, More than 1,2,3 - Math and Early Childhood, Discipline and Children, Raising Young Readers, Inquiring Minds Want to Know: Science for Young Children, What Children Need to Know to Start School, ABCs of Early Literacy, Settting the Stage: Promoting Social Emotional Health in Young Children and more.
All sessions are from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. or 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. online unless otherwise indicated. Pre-registration & payment is required!
