Udall Scholarship Information Session

Wednesday, November 13, 5:00 PM, Bessey Hall room 316

The Udall Scholarship provides up to $7,000 for eligible academic expenses and leadership development. This award requires an institutional nomination so applicants must go through the MSU NIFS process and be nominated. The NIFS Office (www.nifs.msu.edu ) will help you with your application. Eligibility:

  • Sophomores or juniors interested in working towards positive solutions to environmental challenges or to issues impacting Indian country
  • Demonstrated commitment to public service and making a difference through civility and consensus building
  • Program areas: Tribal policy (for Native Americans and Alaska Natives working on policy issues in Indian country); Native health care (for Native Americans and Alaska Natives pursuing health-related careers; and environment (for undergraduates interested in conservation and environmental issues)
