Established in 1946, the Urban & Regional Planning Program is accredited by the Planning Accreditation Board (PAB) since 1987. It offers a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning, a Master of Urban and Regional Planning, and a MURP/JD dual degree.

On Oct. 13, the SPDC participated in the Design & Build Day at Impression 5 Science Museum. This was the second year that HBA of Greater Lansing and Impression 5 organized this event, and this year, SPDC was one of the 11 participating facilitators.
