    4-H Future Squad Community Sevice-Sewing and Needle Arts (Make and Donate)

    December 4, 2021 10:00AM – 2:00PM Washtenaw County Fair Grounds: 5055 Ann Arbor Saline Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48103

    Join 4-H Future Squad and Washtenaw County 4-H staff & volunteers as you learn the basics of either hand sewing or crocheting. Participants will work to complete two winter apparel projects, one to take and one to donate. This event is FREE.

  • Inclusive 4-H

    Blending different backgrounds together is a unique aspect of Michigan 4-H. Differences including people of diverse backgrounds, heritages, and physical and mental abilities are welcome, and encouraged, to join 4-H as a participant or volunteer.

  • 4-H Scholarships & Recognition Program

    The 4-H Scholarship and Recognition Program provides both youth participants and 4-H volunteers with recognition and rewards for their work in 4-H.

  • 4-H Exploration Days

    This MSU precollege program welcomes youth ages 12-19 to explore their future, try new things and experience college life! During this three-day event, youth will gain confidence and independence through hands-on learning and make friends for a lifetime.

  • 4-H Cloverbuds (Ages 5-7)

    Youth ages 5-7 aren’t quite ready to participate in many of the 4-H project areas and activities that older children can, but there’s still plenty for them to do in 4-H, starting with fun!

  • Character Education

    Character education is the process of learning common attitudes, beliefs and behaviors that are important for people to have as responsible citizens. Parents, teachers, 4-H volunteers and families can help youth positively develop character.

  • 4-H Communications

    Having great communications skills can make a big difference in life and work. In 4-H activities, you will have the opportunity to gain skills and confidence in areas such as public speaking, writing, visual communication, video and media.
