  • Michigan Master Naturalist Course

    The MSU Extension Michigan Master Naturalist Program is available to all persons interested in understanding and conserving the native ecology of the state beginning in their own backyards. Local programs are coordinated by local partner groups throughout the state. The course is delivered in monthly sessions over a period of six months.

  • Introduction to Lakes Online

    Introduction to Lakes Online is a six-week online course specially designed for lake users, lakefront property owners and lake managers interested in learning about inland lakes. From the comfort of home or office, participants have 24/7 access to six online units complete with closed-captioned video lectures, interactive activities, additional resources, discussion forums, quizzes and live chat sessions with classmates and MSU Extension experts. The course is typically offered in January.

    Introduction to Lakes Online is a six-week course designed for lake users, property owners, lake managers, and anyone interested in learning about lakes. Topics include lake ecology, watersheds, shorelines, aquatic plants, law, and community engagement.
