Many local governments in Michigan use planning zoning to regulate these type of land uses and it’s important to understand those regulations and how to work with your local unit of government on your plans. MSU Extension Educator Tyler Augst will give brief overview of planning and zoning in Michigan, what to look for in your local zoning ordinance, and tips for working with your local officials.
