Welcome to the home of the Soil Fertility and Nutrient Management Program at Michigan State University. Our goal is to provide science-based research and extension information that improves crop production, increases the ecological efficiency, and incorporates progressive nutrient management strategies for production agricultural systems. Check back frequently for the latest research results in soil fertility and plant nutrition as well as events from around the state of Michigan.
Our program is always interested in potential graduate students interested in soil science, agronomy, production agriculture, agroecology, and soil biology.
