Thesis Project: Fusion Infusion Center & Assisted Living Facility
Author: Chloe Aalsburg
Class: IDES 452 Interior Design Synthesis III
Fusion is a luxury infusion center and assisted living facility. This space will be a relaxing healing environment for cancer patients and focus on fostering growth during a difficult time in their lives. It will include infusion rooms and bedrooms, as well as massage therapy, counseling and a fitness room. The renovated space will focus on health, comfort, aesthetics, and control. On-site bedrooms will have a relaxed residential feel and give patients control over their personal space. The facility will provide patients with an environment that is less sterile than the average healthcare facility by creating a family atmosphere and residential feel. While patients are receiving treatment, they will feel completely at home at fusion.
