View all Strength Training Basics VideosTo perform this exercise, stand in front of a dip station or two parallel bars. Prop yourself up onto the bars with your arms extended and your hands in a neutral position. This is the starting position for the movement. With your core nice and tight, bend the elbows and lower your body as far as you can. As your elbows bend, they should point behind your body. Finish the movement by extending the arms and returning to the starting position.
