MSU Beginning Farmer Webinar Series "Getting started with expanded vegetable production" Date: March 19, 2014 Presenter: Hal Hudson, MSU Extension educator.
Because beginning farmers need skills in accessing land, labor, capital and management when expanding into vegetable production. Topics to be presented include: acquiring land, fine-tuning soil, crop selection, starting transplants, recordkeeping, machinery needs, labor, accessing capital, integrated pest management, maintaining production records, as well as other topics pertinent to vegetable production. The goal of this on-line program is to provide information and insights to help you expand into vegetable production.
