Life of the Straits: Les Cheneaux

The Les Cheneaux area includes an archipelago of over 30 islands strung out along the north coast of Lake Huron. We explore the area then head to the mainland shoreline along the Nature Conservancy’s Woolam preserve. Take a tour with us as we explore the boreal forest and amazing dolomite boulders found here. We end with a great ecosystem in a bottle activity where you and your family can build your own mini living ecosystems.
