The crew at Michigan State University's Upper Peninsula Research and Extension Center in Chatham, Michigan are taking first cutting data from a set of alfalfa research plots. This study is comparing reduced-lignin alfalfa varieties and extended alfalfa harvest interval timings. Funding is from Project GREEN.
