Wexford County 4-H is looking for a motivated individual to join us as a 4-H HealthCorps member this summer!
As a 4-H HealthCorps member, you'll gain valuable professional experience with Michigan State University Extension and 4-H and play a significant role in shaping the future of the next generation. If you're looking for a part-time summer opportunity where your time can make a difference, right here in our backyard, this could be the perfect fit for you.
This position runs from June 10 to September 13, 2024, and offers a living allowance, an education award, qualified student loan forbearance and interest accrual repayment, professional development opportunities, and more!

Wexford County 4-H Council
Seeking New Participants
Council exists to support the growth of countywide 4-H and youth development opportunities. Members fund raise, provide scholarships, and plan year-round activities to support our 4-H community. Youth, parents, volunteers and community members are welcome to attend. The group meets bi-monthly, on the fourth Tuesday of every odd month, from 5:30-7, at the Wexford County MSU Extension office at Baker College in Cadillac. Current officers include Jill Benson, Maria Martin, Jessica Ackerson, and Mia Krause.

4-H clubs are volunteer led by dedicated volunteers who believe in our mission to grow the future leaders of our community by ensure they have the skills to be successful and healthy adults. The clubs that are offered, their capacity, schedules, and activities are dictated by the number and talents of our volunteers. If you would be interested in sharing your skills, talents, and traditions with the next generation, please reach out to discuss the many ways that you could help us build a robust program that is ready to take on our changing world.

Northern District Fair
Cadillac is home to the Northern District Fair. As a district fair, Michiganders from across the state can participate in exhibits, livestock showmanship and livestock auction. Youth must be part of a recognized youth organization to participate.
*Northern District Fair and Michigan 4-H are separate organizations and partner together to offer a fun fair experience to youth.
