4-H Animal Project Marketing Resources

An important part of raising livestock as a 4-H project is knowing how to market your project animal. Through market animal projects, youth learn valuable life skills in addition to basic animal science care and management. These life skills include communication (written and verbal), record-keeping, decision making, planning and organizing. Showing or selling your animal may take place in face-to-face or virtual settings but the life skills are the same.
