Research at CMERC

CMERC Field Research.jpeg

Over the last five years, we have focused on collecting baseline data to inform the “before” of every level of biological organization in the complex of wetland ecosystems at Corey Marsh Ecological Research Center. We are in the process of establishing long-term, longitudinal studies to document species diversity and health of the ecosystem. These studies are essential to understand how population, community, and ecosystem processes and functions will fluctuate in response to experimental manipulations that will be part of the future research program.
