MLFCN December Monthly Meeting

Join the Michigan Local Food Council Network for our monthly phone/video conference, featuring topics and speakers relevant to the work of councils across the state. We will share federal and state legislative updates and include time to discuss offers, requests and connections among councils.
This month we will share about and celebrate one another's accomplishments in 2024 and look forward to organizing in 2025. The MLFCN team will formally welcome Lindsey Scalera as a coordinator and, in follow-up to our November listening session with Johns Hopkins' Food Policy Networks, preview next year's plans for network engagement. We'll take a look at the trajectory of MLFCN from its beginnings in 2015 to 2025 and beyond, briefly previewing the MLFCN Theory of Change & Transformation collaborative process undertaken with the MLFCN Advisory Team and wrap up with a discussion about advocacy organizing opportunities centered on narrative change.
