On behalf of the Michigan State University Center for PFAS Research and the Center’s Events Planning Committee, I welcome you to join us in East Lansing, Michigan on October 25 for our first-ever Annual PFAS Symposium.  We anticipate that this one-day meeting will promote important discussions and exchanges of ideas to catalyze advances and collaborations.

This year’s Symposium will focus on addressing some of the grand challenges faced by two timely emerging approaches: remediation of PFAS contamination and assessments of toxicity of mixtures.  We have assembled an exciting group of featured speakers including leading experts from US EPA, ATSDR/CDC, Enspired Solutions, and academia.  We also encourage those who wish to share their research achievements relevant to a wide range of PFAS-related issues in a poster session.

The low registration costs for this symposium are intended to encourage participation by trainees and early-career researchers as well as leaders in the wide array of disciplines involved in PFAS research.  There will be multiple opportunities for social engagement and networking at this event.

Registration and poster abstract submissions are now open at https://events.anr.msu.edu/InauguralAnnualSymposium/, and we encourage you to register soon, as the symposium venue will limit attendance.  We are eager to host you in East Lansing this October and look forward to a rewarding and exciting event.

Sincerely yours,

Cheryl Murphy, Director, MSU Center for PFAS Research
