Joseph Kreider
Joe Kreider is a Michigan State University Extension 4-H statewide educator housed in Kalkaska County.
He was formerly a 4-H Program Coordinator where he provided leadership and management of local 4-H programs, volunteers, and youth participants in Kalkaska County. He promotes and strengthens the Kalkaska County 4-H program by developing programs and partnerships, promoting and evaluating 4-H programs, and recruiting and training volunteers. Joe is also the liaison from the state Michigan 4-H office helping to ensure that statewide opportunities and information is available to local participants.
Prior to joining MSU Extension, Joe was director of a middle school after school and summer program and held other positions in youth development organizations ranging from school-based programs to residential treatment centers for adjudicated youth.
Joe holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Native American Studies and Outdoor Education from Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin.
