Outdoor plants are beautiful to look at but many gardeners are disappointed when their ornamental plants have been munched on by deer. Deer populations continue to be on the rise in urban and suburban landscapes with no natural enemies. During this presentation, you will learn more about different types of urban wildlife and techniques to deter damage. While there is no silver bullet, choosing plants that are less attractive to feeding will be a gardener’s best defense.
Registration Deadline: Monday May 6, 2024 at midnight or until class if full.

Upon completion of the payment process, you will see a screen showing transaction approval and will receive a receipt showing $0 balance. Registrations will be cancelled if balances are not paid within 10 days of registration. Your seat is not reserved until your balance is paid in full.
Partial scholarships may be available. Please indicate on the registration form if you would like to be considered.
All are welcome to register and attend. MSU Extension Master Gardeners, you may count two education hours for attending this class.
Refund Policy - for the Deterring Deer Workshop
- A full refund, less a $10 processing fee, will be issued for any registration cancelled up to 7 days before the workshop.
- No refund will be issued for any registration cancelled within 7 days of the workshop. No refund will be issued for any registration cancelled after the workshop has started.
