Members from the North Central 4-H Club and the 4-H Country Kids Club, their parents, volunteer leaders and local Master Gardeners showed up at the new Montcalm County 4-H Fairgrounds, where they spent the day planting, mulching and watering trees. -

The Lansing warehouse bulged with books of every size, for youth of all ages. Vehicles from all over the state steadily pulled up to the overhead doors and filled every space in the vehicle with boxes of "paper gold" better known as books. -

In 2011, more than 6,000 Michigan children participated in a cross-cultural exchange through the Michigan 4-H Children's Art Exchange with Binzhou in Shandong Province, China. The participants came from 43 schools and after-school groups in 18 counties. -

Prior to Exploration Days, 42 Delta and Schoolcraft County 4-H members collaborated to build and test remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROVs) at the Great Lakes Naval Memorial and Museum in Muskegon. -
