Meet the De Saegher family
De Saegher Dairy is owned and operated by the De Saegher family who moved to the U.S. from Belgium in 1999.
When the family first moved to Michigan, they were only milking around 35 cows. Now, they own and operate four large dairy farms in Michigan and milk 13,000 cows. They also farm 1,800 acres of corn, 700 acres of hay and 200 acres of wheat.
The farm has received several milk quality awards, is part of the National Dairy Farmers Assuring Responsible Management (FARM) Program and are MAEAP verified.
The De Saegher family is excited to demonstrate their standard of excellence when it comes to caring for their land and their animals with Breakfast on the Farm visitors on Aug. 19.
