Evaluation Expedition

Location: Desire to Learn

Audience: MSU Extension employees who will engage in program evaluation as well as those outside of MSU who wish to learn more about program evaluation.

In this course, you will learn the basics of program evaluation: what evaluation is, different types of evaluations you can use to evaluate your programs, how to plan and implement an evaluation, and more! The course is broken into 11 modules, which each cover a different topic related to the evaluation process. In each module you will find:

  • A short video overview of the topic
  • An interactive activity
  • A quiz to assess your knowledge
  • Additional resources

The modules are fairly short and each should typically take about 15 minutes to complete. The order of the modules follows the general order of an evaluation, but you are more than welcome to complete them in any order you like.
