Join the Michigan Natural Shoreline Partnership for their biennial Shoreline and Shallows Conference being held on October 17 from 8:30 - 4:00 at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center in East Lansing, MI. This conference brings together professionals, researchers, agency staff, and others interested in protecting lake shorelines. This year's theme is "Restoring Resiliency to Shorelines." Presentations will cover a variety of topics including shoreline characteristics that make up a resilient fishery, rebuilding shorelines through plants, resilient plant communities of the Great Lakes, practical ways to get more natural shorelines installed, and reptiles and amphibians of Michigan's inland lakes and how best to protect them through natural shoreline designs.

Early bird pricing is available through September 10: $60/person. After September 10: $80/person.
Student discount: $30/person
