Chronic Pain PATH Workshop

A Self-Management Resource Center Program

Feeling tired, overwhelmed, or isolated because of your chronic pain? The Chronic Pain PATH workshop gives you the tools to feel better. You will learn how to:

  • Better manage pain, fatigue, and difficult emotions
  • Evaluate medical treatments to choose which is the right one for you
  • Make healthier food choices to manage pain
  • Talk with family, friends, and healthcare providers about your pain

Program benefits may include:

  • Increased energy and less fatigue
  • Improved ways to communicate talk with your healthcare providers and family members
  • Reduced medication use to manage pain

This workshop is free for Michigan residents. Family members, friends, and caregivers are encouraged to attend with you.

The online workshop meets for 2 hours, once a week for 6 weeks, and one initial session for 30 minutes to an hour for a total of seven weeks.  You must have an internet or data connection and a device with a camera and audio to attend this workshop. This is a live class using Zoom and it will not be recorded.

When you register, you agree to use your video and audio during the workshop and attend all seven sessions. Please let your facilitators know if you are going to be absent.
