The 4-H Virtual Book Club is a new statewide SPecial INterest (SPIN) Club. Club members will read a new book each month with a virtual group discussion at the end of the month. The club will also explore creative writing, careers in literature, library science, author studies, project exhibit ideas and more. Books are chosen for an audience 11 and older. In honor of Black History Month, the selected book for February is Brown Girl Dreaming by Jacqueline Woodson. For more information or assistance in getting a copy of the book, contact Sarah at graversa@msu.edu or (810)667-0341. Youth can join the club by selecting "SPIN Club 4-H Virtual Book Club" in 4-H online at https://v2.4honline.com/

A new book will be chosen each month.  Participants are encouraged to be active participants in discussions but are not required to read every book or attend every discussion.  Other self-paced individual activities will be periodically sent to club members to further enhance skills in the project area.
