MASTER THE SCIENCE AND ART OF PRUNING!!!!!!
Pruning is an important cultural practice used to maintain health, safety, vigor and appearance of woody plants. It involves both art and science – art, in shaping plants in harmony with their growth habit to enhance the landscape, and science, in knowing how, when, where and why to prune for maximum benefit.
MSU Extension Sr. Horticulture Educator, Rebecca Finneran will lead the on-line Zoom workshops that are designed to help participants learn best practices for pruning and the proper equipment it takes for each job. You will be able to ask questions and interact with the instructor. And, prior to the workshop you have selected, you will have the option to submit photos for discussion and analysis, as time allows.
Certified/Re-certified MSU Extension Master Gardener attendees will earn 4 continuing education hours.
The webinar will be recorded, and the recording link sent to the registrants after the session.
For your convenience, this workshop is being offered on two different days - Jan. 31, 2024 and Feb. 21, 2024 from 1 - 5 p.m.. To learn more about when and how to prune, register today for the workshop that best fits your schedule.

Registration deadline for the Jan. 31st workshop: Jan. 30, 2024 or when the workshop is full.

Refund Policy:
- A full refund, less a $10 processing fee, will be issued for any registration cancelled up to 7 days before the workshop.
- No refund will be issued for any registration cancelled within 7 days of the workshop.
- No refund will be issued for any registration cancelled after the workshop has started.
- Substitutions allowed.
