Mass Timber in Design: An In-depth Look at Adelaide Pointe

This workshop will focus on the implementation of mass timber within Adelaide Pointe, a multi-phased mixed-use development in Muskegon featuring two projects that utilize cross laminated timber (CLT) and glue laminated timber (glulam) as the primary structure.

Research Associate (Postdoctoral)
The Michigan State University School of Planning, Design and Construction (MSU SPDC) Construction Management program is hiring a post-doctoral research associate to focus on a variety of topics related to mass timber construction. The position reports to MassTimber@MSU Research Director George Berghorn, Asst. Professor of Construction Management.
Assistant Professor
The MSU Department of Forestry is recruiting for a tenure-stream assistant professor position focused on sustainable bio products including, but not limited to lignin-based products, mass timber, biochar and climate change solutions. The position is part of a vibrant Forestry department with the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of labs and programs, including MassTimber@MSU.
