Abigail LynchDoctoral student Abigail Lynch has been invited to participate in the Emerging Engagement Scholars Workshop at the 2012 Outreach Scholarship Conference at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

The intensive professional development program provides advanced doctoral students and early career faculty with background literature, facilitated discussion, mentoring, and presentations designed to increase their knowledge and enhance their practice of community engaged scholarship.

The workshop, Sept. 29 - Oct. 3, is sponsored by The Engagement Scholarship Consortium, a non-profit educational organization composed of higher education member institutions, a mix of state-public and private institutions.

Lynch was nominated by Bill Taylor.
