Dr. Leonardo Volpato Receives NAPB Early Career Award

The National Association of Plant Breeders has awarded Dr. Leonardo Volpato the Early Career Award.

The National Association of Plant Breeder’s 2022 Annual Meeting was held on the campus of Iowa State University. The theme of the conference is the “Past, Present and Future of Plant Breeding.” Dr. Leonardo Volpato a postdoctoral researcher at Michigan State University working in the Dry bean breeding and genetics program led by Dr. Francisco Gomez was awarded the NAPB Early Career Award for his poster titled “Estimation of stand count in dry beans using high resolution imagery: feasibility and validation”.
