Hop scouting flip guide now available

This guide can assist hop growers in optimizing their scouting and identifying problems in the field.

Michigan State University, Iowa State University and the Ontario Ministry of Ag have developed a new “Hop scouting pocket guide for the U.S. Upper Midwest and Northwest, and Eastern Canada.”  The guide contains a scouting calendar, growth stage guide, pest descriptions and information on beneficial insects that Michigan growers are likely to see.

The Michigan State University Extension bulletin (E3348) is available at the MSU Extension Bookstore. The cost is $12 and it ships in one to two business days.
