MASFRIJOL Showcased at MSU

Carolina Molina, a MASFRIJOL nutritionist, gave a PowerPoint presentation on MASFRIJOL's objectives and strategic implementation.

Attendees on the MSU campus learned about the objectives and strategies behind the Legume Innovation Lab's Associate Award project, MASFRIJOL, which operates in Guatemala's western highlands. In the PowerPoint, Molina focused on the two-pronged approach MASFRIJOL has taken to improving nutrition among the indigenous populations in the western highlands: increasing bean productivity in the highland fields and increasing the amount of beans consumed by the people living in the highlands.
