New AOTR for the Dry Grain Pulses CRSP

Dr. Larry Beach has been appointed by USAID as the new AOTR for the Dry Grain Pulses CRSP.

Larry Beach is a biochemist who worked for Pioneer before making a career change to EGAT/USAID ten years ago as manager of USAID’s Biotechnology portfolio. Larry brings understanding of the long-term nature of agricultural research to the AOTR position as well as an informed appreciation of the impact that technology and knowledge can have on the economic development of agricultural systems and improving the welfare of farmers.
