Over 150 people attended the international conference, “Little Beans, Big Opportunities: Realizing the Potential of Pulses to Meet Today’s Global Health Challenges.” This conference covered a range of topics from fundamental science of nutrition through value chain developments and behavior change. A summary and presentations can be found on the International Year of Pulses website here.  The Feed the Future Legume Innovation Lab was well represented with Mark Manary (WUSTL) as a keynote speaker, while Irv Widders (MSU) and Vincent Amanor Boadu (KSU) served as session moderators.  Karen Cichy (MSU/USDA), Cynthia Donovan (MSU), and Vern Long (USAID) were among the attendees so check with them on the dynamic presentations and discussions.
