Three MSU IAT off-campus certificate program sites in Southwest Michigan
Kellogg Community College joins Glen Oaks Community College and Southwestern Michigan College as partners with Michigan State University (MSU) Institute of Agricultural Technology.
The Institute of Agricultural Technology at MSU (IAT) has been conducting practical plant, animal and technology certificate courses on its East Lansing campus for more than 100 years in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek is now recruiting students for fall classes in the agricultural operations program.
In addition to agricultural operations programs, other off-campus certificate programs include fruit and vegetable crop management, landscape management, and viticulture.
Off-campus coordinators for IAT guide prospective students through the application process, guide students through a course of study, and student internship. All IAT courses are taught by approved faculty including Michigan State University Extension staff. Because of the partnership, students are able to count all IAT credits toward their associate degree.
Not all programs are offered at all locations. To obtain information about off-campus IAT certificate programs and admission requirements, visit the website, or contact one of the staff listed below.
