Weed control articles for the landscape and nursery industry

In January (2006) I attend an excellent series of talks at the Great Lakes Trade Expo in Grand Rapids on the subject of weed control.
Dr. Hannah Mathers from Ohio State University was the presenter and has authored three articles that were handouts at the Expo. These are now available on line from: www.glte.org
The article "Weed Control in Container Nurseries and Greenhouse: More than Chemicals" (www.glte.org/documents/Mathers_WeedControlinContainerNurseries.pdf) focuses on alternatives to herbicides as well as detailed information on the common container weeds and their controls.
“Weed Control in Field Nurseries:Something old,something New" (www.glte.org/documents/Mathers_WeedControlinFieldNurseries.pdf) focuses on a chart of the herbicides for field nursery production broken down by mode of action, herbicide family, strengths ,etc. As well as information on new herbicides for the nursery industry.
And finally "Weed Control in the Landscape:Choosing the Right Herbicide" (www.glte.org/documents/Mathers_WeedControlintheLandscape.pdf) is a short article aimed at getting the landscaper to consider multiple factors when deciding on what herbicide to use in a landscape setting.
