Transportation from DTW to Westin:
Driving:
- Take W.G. Rogell Dr. to I-94 E
- Continue on I-94 E to Detroit. Take exit 215A to merge onto M-10 S toward Downtown
- Use the left land to take exit 2B for Bagley Ave.
- Turn right onto 3rd Ave.
- Turn left at the first cross street onto Michigan Ave.
- Turn left onto Washington Blvd.
- Destination will be on the right

- The Detroit Air Xpress (DAX) connects DTW and Detroit for 16 round trips per day. The bus includes stops at "Departures" for the McNamara Terminal and "Ground Transportation" for the Evans Terminal. In Detroit, its stop is a two-minute walk from the Westin. One-way travel time is 30-50 minutes, and tickets can be purchased in advanced ($6) or at the door ($8).

When at the Westin, use the Michigan Ave. Station for the greatest convenience.

Riders can pay with cash or use the Dart mobile app for seamless fare payment across DDOT and SMART buses. The Rosa Parks Transit Center is the station closest to the Westin for passenger convenience.

- SMART is Greater Detroit’s regional bus network, linking suburban communities in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb Counties with downtown Detroit via 47 fixed routes—including high-frequency FAST express lines along Gratiot, Michigan, and Woodward Avenues. Buses run seven days a week, approximately 22 hours per day, and are fully integrated with DDOT through the Dart fare system: a 4‑hour pass costs $2 and covers unlimited rides on SMART and DDOT. From the Westin, board at the Rosa Parks Transit Center for easy access.
