Katherine I. Knowles is a third year Ph.D. student in the Department of English at Michigan State University who is also working towards a certification in Digital Humanities. She received her BA from Hanover College and her MA from the University of Birmingham’s Shakespeare Institute. Prior to starting her PhD, Knowles was a researcher and project manager for the IRIS Digital Humanities Center at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Her research interests include digital humanities, affect theory, cultural heritage, and early modern drama.
