MSU Extension Saginaw County

Mark Rankin serves as the district director for MSU Extension District 9, which comprises Bay, Genesee, Midland, Saginaw and Shiawassee counties. Rankin works with local governments, nonprofits, school systems and neighborhood groups to help identify community challenges and propose and implement successful solutions. Before joining Extension, Rankin worked with organizations, schools and companies across Michigan, providing and facilitating professional and staff development. Rankin received his bachelor’s degree in education from Cornerstone College and his master’s degree in adult and continuing education from MSU. He is a doctoral candidate in K-12 education administration at MSU.
