Natalia Portales
I am a third year student at Michigan State University studying environmental biology and zoology with a minor in Spanish. I am working in Dr. Liu’s graduate laboratory as an undergraduate research assistant with a fellowship from Lyman Briggs College.
My faculty mentor is Dr. Liu and I work closely with Sydney Waloven, Kelly Kasper, and Nick Manning. My research project supports the NSF-funded arctic telecoupling research project. I have research interests in anthropogenic climate change, conservation, biodiversity, and environmental sustainability.
