Bio:

Purva started her Graduate Degree at Michigan State University's School of Packaging in the Fall of 2021 and has acquired an engineering degree in Printing and Packaging Technology from the University of Mumbai. Her area of interest is food packaging and sustainability. She is currently interning at PepsiCo Headquarters in Texas. 

 

Research Focus:

Purva has been investigating a naturally sourced coating material to improve the barrier properties of paper-based packaging. By testing and analyzing different coating parameters, she aims to achieve the environment-friendly packaging goal.
