Robert Saxton is a full-time instructor at MSU’s Institute for Food Laws and Regulations and a practicing attorney. He comes to IFLR with a deep understanding of education theory and best practices, and over 25 years of teaching experience.

Mr. Saxton earned his law degree at Michigan State University’s College of Law. He holds a master’s degree in education, a Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Arts, all from the University of Michigan.

As a former high school science teacher, Mr. Saxton is passionate about teaching, and helping students learn and apply science and law to their professional lives.

Mr. Saxton teaches IFLR’s undergraduate course, FSC 421: Food Laws and Regulations.
