The comments associated with each organization are based on experiences of researchers at Michigan State University. Remember, no chestnut material, other than nuts, can be brought into Michigan due to the Chestnut Asian Gall Wasp pest quarantine. Also, remember, mixing Chinese and European/Japanese hybrids may lead to nuts with internal kernel breakdown (IKB).
